ABOUT US

hey cousin

You know what Sunday smells like.

Greens on the stove before anybody else is awake. Gospel coming from somewhere in the back of the house. A table that somehow fits everybody, even when it shouldn’t.

That’s not a memory. That’s a whole world.

We started Coloring Kinfolk because that world wasn’t on any page we could find. You could find abstract patterns. Brown faces on generic backgrounds. What you couldn’t find was Grandma’s kitchen. The front porch after church. The beauty shop on a Saturday. The cookout where the music was too loud and nobody turned it down. The church fan. The HBCU homecoming. The family reunion where somebody always cried and nobody admitted it.

The scenes that do not make it into history books. The ones that live in us anyway.

So we built them. Page by page. Scene by scene.

We call ourselves a Cultural Memory Preservation Company because that’s exactly what this is. Not decoration. Documentation. These scenes belong on paper. They belong in your hands. They belong in the activity room of the memory care facility where your grandmother finally sees herself on a page. They belong at the reunion table. They belong with you, right now, coloring slow on a quiet afternoon with nowhere to be.

This is rest that remembers where it came from.

We offer individual books, custom family memory books, and institutional licenses for memory care facilities, churches, and nonprofits. Every seat at the table is covered.
